NYC
OK, so if my predictions for the women's semifinals at the Australian Open were completely wrong, my prediction about the final itself can't possibly be right. But keep in mind that if two incorrect calls hadn't gone against Maria Sharapova, and if Kim Clijsters hadn't sprained her ankle on the hot sticky court, things could have been different.
So, at 1:30 PM Saturday Melbourne time (corresponding to 9:30 PM Friday eastern time), Amelie Mauresmo will meet Justine Henin in the final. My only prediction is that the winner's native language is French.
