WPF Book Actually Totally Real

August 27, 2006
Roscoe, NY

I haven't wrapped my grubby hands around a copy yet, but I've seen a photograph of my No. 1 Fan holding a copy of my new book Applications = Code + Markup: A Guide to the Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation. He got it from amazon so it is apparently now available.

I have amended the above-mentioned page of my Web site to list instructions for what to install to use the book. (See the heading "Using the Book".) I'm recommending installing the June CTP at this time because that's the one with the Visual Studio extensions necessary for creating and compiling WPF apps.

All source code for the book is downloadable from here.

Free free to email me accolades, gripes, bug reports, and queries (preferably in that order). I will be in Provincetown MA on a little vacation for the next couple days, but I hope to find a Wi-Fi hot spot and check in.
