I Shoulda Read the Contract

August 10, 2007
Roscoe, N.Y.

Although some lucky souls have gotten copies of 3D Programming for Windows, Amazon.com still says that mine won't be shipped until October, and many other people who pre-ordered the book are still having the same problem.

In desperation, I read through my contract for the book. I probably should have read it when I signed it, but as usual, I thought I had better things to do. Here's the shocking clause:

Bogus Book Contract for Satirical Purposes Only

So that's the problem! I was the one who was supposed to truck the books from the printer to the Amazon.com warehouse!

So I've rented a U-Haul and will set out tomorrow morning. Anyone up for a road trip?

Comments:

So has this been sorted Charles,

I really think I need to get my hands on one... (UK)
