Although some lucky souls have gotten copies of 3D Programming for Windows, Amazon.com still says that mine won't be shipped until October, and many other people who pre-ordered the book are still having the same problem.
In desperation, I read through my contract for the book. I probably should have read it when I signed it, but as usual, I thought I had better things to do. Here's the shocking clause:
So that's the problem! I was the one who was supposed to truck the books from the printer to the Amazon.com warehouse!
So I've rented a U-Haul and will set out tomorrow morning. Anyone up for a road trip?
